The term health inspector is a generic title that could refer to a number of different types of inspectors, such as: public health inspectors, environmental health inspectors, occupational health and safety inspectors, agricultural and food safety inspectors, animal and plant health inspectors, and mine health and safety inspector. Health inspectors can also work at the federal, state and local level for both governments and private industry.
